Well my old Geforce 9800GTX was not up to the task, medium details at best.

Got Geforce GTX 550 Ti with 1GB memory quite cheaply from shop, and now Skyrim is running on completely highest setting 1920×1080.

So you don’t need the highest and most expensive card, this one will do just fine.
